If it's a joke, it's going awfully far: It's on the California Attorney General's website as an "active initiative".

If you click on the pdf, you'll find that it just means John Marcotte was willing to lay dow $200 to find out how many people would vote for something so stupid.

From his recent article on healthcare, I'd say he isn't as foaming-at-the-mouth crazy as that website makes him look, joke or no.

I wasn't sure if it was serious or not. But then I remembered that it is California, and we actually did pass Prop 8, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Since when did California become the most religiously restrictive state in the Union?
