Date: 2008-05-05 04:37 pm (UTC)It may not be high cuisine, but this is really good on a cold winter day.

Date: 2008-05-05 05:20 pm (UTC)I'm having trouble imagining "pizza soup" for some reason.
Re: Yummy Hot Dog Soup
Date: 2008-05-05 05:42 pm (UTC)- Diced onions and green pepper with sausage.
- Mushrooms & black olives
- Quartered pepperoni slices
- Frozen spinach
Melt shredded mozzarella on top of any of these.
Actually, just about any ingredient you would put on pizza will do ok in a creamy tomato soup base, but I would avoid anchovies and the whole Hawaiian ham/pineapple/barbecue thing.

Date: 2008-05-05 10:09 pm (UTC)Serve on Monday.
Serve leftover Liver and Onions on Tuesday.
Serve leftover Liver and Onions on Wednesday.
On Thursday, dice Liver into nigh-unrecognizable (but not quite unrecognizable) chunks. Use as the meat in your favorite chili recipe.
Serve to students who like chili without telling them what the meat is.
Watch their revulsion as they go, "This tastes weird," fish out a chunk of meat and go, "Ewwwwwwwwwww!"

Date: 2008-05-06 12:34 am (UTC)Wait two months and then serve curry, first thing they served with flavor.
Begin to serve more often. By end of semester serve curry for dinner four nights a week, for lunch three days a week, and at least once a week have curried eggs for breakfast.
