I have been watching a Spike Jones DVD and decided to take a look on some information on some of the folks in the band.

Sir Frederick Gas died two months ago. RIP

George Rock was the trumpet player, I can't remember the name of the trombone player at the moment, but he had one of the great stone faces of all time.

Kingsley Jackson was the original, but when he joined the army early on, he was replaced by John Stanley

According to the interview on this disc with the drummer (about props) it was Joe Baldwin in these shows

Ah...Jackson left in 1942. Stanley was the trombonist from 1942-1945.
