ericcolemanThe Sunday of Labor Day weekend 2000 Julie chased me out of the house. I had not played in front of people in a good many years and she felt it was time. I didn't have to be up in the morning for work, I had no excuse.
That was what led me back to performing, and to where I am today.
I am considering putting together a show, in the Chicago area, Sunday of Labor Day 2015. Talked to Daniel earlier this evening, Toyboat are tentative, depending on what the various folks have going on. Cheshire Moon of course. And that very rare occurrence, me performing solo for the first time in several years.
So, all of the permutations of my music over the last 15 years all in one place. I'd sit in with some of Toyboat's set, I'd invite some of the folks I have played with during my solo years, Andy and Amy in particular.
I've been a performer of some sort since my early teens, so 40 years give or take a few. I want to celebrate that.
So, the big question, would there be an interest? Would you come see this show?
