I have a cunning plan.

The Sunday of Labor Day weekend 2000 Julie chased me out of the house. I had not played in front of people in a good many years and she felt it was time. I didn't have to be up in the morning for work, I had no excuse.

That was what led me back to performing, and to where I am today.

I am considering putting together a show, in the Chicago area, Sunday of Labor Day 2015. Talked to Daniel earlier this evening, Toyboat are tentative, depending on what the various folks have going on. Cheshire Moon of course. And that very rare occurrence, me performing solo for the first time in several years.

So, all of the permutations of my music over the last 15 years all in one place. I'd sit in with some of Toyboat's set, I'd invite some of the folks I have played with during my solo years, Andy and Amy in particular.

I've been a performer of some sort since my early teens, so 40 years give or take a few. I want to celebrate that.

So, the big question, would there be an interest? Would you come see this show?

That sounds great. As to whether we would come, well, that would depend on whether my tentative plans to visit my mother in the middle of nowhere, Oregon, happens and if so when. I won't drive in to Chicago from Oregon for a show, I'm afraid. I would happily drive in from Milwaukee if that's where I am for the weekend.

An additional thought is to check what cons might conflict, since so many of your friends go to them.

I think that the only major con Labor Day weekend is Dragon Con.

Probably, but cons keep changing their dates around.

I wish I could say that I will make it, but its a bit of a drive from the NYC area and a few weeks post worldcon. (I don't attend Dragoncon.)

So you have the two full length CDs? The live CD was only available directly from me, dealers never had that one.

Wow, there are not many of the EP out there. I didn't think I sold any of those outside of Iowa and Illinois.

Ahhh. I still like Product Might Be Hot, even if it's dated. The other songs on the EP are much better in their later versions.
