Here are the rules.

Answer only one quote.

If you answer more than one I will delete your reply. If there are quotes still not answered the next day I will open it up to any and all guesses.

Most weeks there is a theme. If there is not a theme I will tell you. The theme is open to guess even if you have guessed a quote.

[livejournal.com profile] shsilver is quick this morning ... the theme is John Cusack movies

Don't use a search engine (like this can be enforced). If you don't know, you don't know. Maybe next week you will.

You must either be signed into LJ, or say who you are (in case you are a friend of mine who is not on LJ). All anonymous answers will be deleted (hey, I'm obsessive, I want to know who guesses these)

02 My little brother got his arm stuck in the microwave. So my mom had to take him to the hospital. My grandma dropped acid this morning, and she freaked out. She hijacked a busload of penguins. 06 A career? I've thought about this quite a bit sir and I would have to say considering what's waiting out there for me, I don't want to sell anything, buy anything or process anything as a career. 11 What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music? [livejournal.com profile] hardly_angelic pokes his head around the door and says "Hey, this is from High Fidelity, I hate it when they're right.

My favorite goof on "One Crazy Summer" is when they supposedly had Hoops driving from New York to Woods Hole....and they had him driving WESTBOUND on US-6 at the DENNIS/YARMOUTH line (Bass River)! What, did they stop for a bit near Orleans on their way there? ;)

Granted you have to really know Cape Cod roads to spot the goof, but still ;)

In real life, the only freeway on Cape Cod they would have driven on is the short MA-28 freeway between Tonset and Falmouth.

Perhaps 02 is Better Off Dead? All good reasons to avoid the paper boy.

The first two I figured out were Being John Malkovich and Con Air. Cusack and Malkovich are in both of them so I needed a third (The Sure Thing) before I could decide on the theme.

I find it interesting that every single time you do this, I don't know ANY of the quotes. Not a single one. What's WRONG with me?! *sob*

Number 9 is from 'Pushing Tin,' which I actually only saw because I was curious to see if there was any onscreen chemistry between Angelina Jolie and her then-spouse Billy Bob Thornton. Both of whom I've liked way better in many other movies. Loved him in "Armageddon."
