Those poor Dixie Chicks
May. 31st, 2006 11:12 amYeah, their careers are over, done, finished.
Their new CD only debuted at #1. What shall they do.
This is from Billboard, see if you can spot what the spin in the right wing media is going to be ...
For the third time in their career, the Dixie Chicks roost on the top of The Billboard 200. The Columbia album "Taking the Long Way" tallied 526,000 copies in its first week of U.S. sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the trio's best-selling week since 2002's "Home" debuted with 780,000.

Date: 2006-05-31 05:43 pm (UTC)I hate them and it's because of that stupid song 'Goodbye Earl', nothing else.
So when I say I don't like them, I get some person ripping into me that I hate free speech and etc, etc, and then I say, "No. My name is Earl, and that song has been humiliating to me." and then I get, "Oh. Sorry. So...Do you watch that show?" Like that's any better and sice my name is Earl, I MUST watch the show.
I can't win. ;)
I thought I'd share that sidebar from my life. Thanks for humoring me.
