If you comment...

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll name something we should do together.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people.

Where does fandom start for me? Hmmm...I'd classify anybody who enjoys SF and participates in our subculture as a "trufan." There are related groups: UFO devotees used to be a large presence at cons, but these days they mostly do their own thing. While the SCA started out as an all-fan group, and got a big boost from the first Worldcon at which their combat was demonstrated, these days it's perfectly possible to be in the SCA without being a member of "fandom" proper. Most role-playing and miniatures gamers would qualify, but not so many tabletop wargamers.

As far as "rock-filk opera" goes---got any ideas for a subject?
