I had a sleepy weekend. Two road trips in two weeks and 4 in about 6 weeks has finally beaten me down.

I stayed in bed and watched movies much of the weekend. I feel much better (except for a whole bronchitis thing, but that happens occasionally)

I have started back into practicing a lot more. My goal is to go upstairs every morning at work and run through 5-7 songs. Everything on my playlist. Including stuff I haven't played for ages.

One of these songs, Home Again, has drifted back into the A-list after some years of being ignored. One of my better guitar parts (back when I used to write much more complicated stuff) and a pretty interesting serious lyric. We'll see what happens to it.

There are a couple of other songs that, while I will play them, will not make it onto the A-list.

Boheme was fun, even if my blood sugar crashed about halfway through the first song. I ate too early and not too well

How Can I Miss You?
Standards (too damn fast)
Color Of Your Eyes (see above)
Trophy Wife
WYSIWYG

I think I sucked, other seemed to enjoy it.

I went to the recently resurrected old time jam last night. It ended up being more of a blues jam since there were more blues people there, but it was still a pretty good time.

My fingers are screaming, but see the first part of this post for what I am going to do about it.

So, how are you? Do not answer in Haiku.

He says "no haiku".
Reverse psychology says
I must write some now!

Does he really think
Anyone here would pass up
A blatant challenge?

How am I? Job search
Making no progress at all.
Is this depression?

One oh-so-cool thing
Helps me to get out of bed:
Ecuador beckons!
