Or, this one goes to 11. Yes indeed 11 quotes this week. Be afraid, be very afraid.

As always ... Here are the rules.

Answer only one quote.

If you answer more than one I will delete your reply. If there are quotes still not answered the next day I will open it up to any and all guesses.

Most weeks there is a theme. If there is not a theme I will tell you. The theme is open to guess even if you have guessed a quote.

[livejournal.com profile] filkertom has guessed the theme ... it's Disaster Movies

Don't use a search engine (like this can be enforced). If you don't know, you don't know. Maybe next week you will.

And a new rule. You must either be signed into LJ, or say who you are (in case you are a friend of mine who is not on LJ). All anonymous answers will be deleted (hey, I'm obsessive, I want to know who guesses these)

01 He was not a loony. He was the sanest man I ever knew in my life. [livejournal.com profile] wyngarde mutters that this may be from The China Syndrome. Yeah I think so too.
02 The governor and I aren't even in the same party. If this turns out to be a false alarm, he'll make me out to be the biggest fool west of the Mississippi. [livejournal.com profile] ann_totusek mutters that this may be from Earthquake. Yeah I think so too.
03 Don't you think you're suffering from an edifice complex? [livejournal.com profile] pheltzer mutters that this may be from The Towering Inferno. Yeah I think so too.
04 You just caught me on a good night. I'm doing what I was made to do - and I've got a feeling I'm going to do it even better this time. [livejournal.com profile] bammba_m mutters that this may be from The Perfect Storm. Yeah I think so too.
05 Cow [livejournal.com profile] filkertom steps up first and gets this one right, it's from Twister, and the theme
06 Isn't this beautiful, nestled all nice and cozy right up against the mountain? [livejournal.com profile] noise626 mutters that this may be from Dante's Peak. Yeah I think so too.
07 This? Why, I can make a hat or a brooch or a pterodactyl... [livejournal.com profile] mairzydotes mutters that this may be from Airplane. Yeah I think so too. (and it is a PARODY of disaster films [livejournal.com profile] pheltzer)
08 My late husband played the violin. Not professionally, but he was very good. He once played the Minute Waltz in 58 seconds. [livejournal.com profile] controuble mutters that this may be from Airport. Yeah I think so too.
09 In the water I'm a very skinny lady. [livejournal.com profile] salexa mutters that this may be from The Poseidon Adventure (as in previous weeks, there is only one). Yeah I think so too.
10 That's the one good thing about Paris: there's a lot of girls willing to take their clothes off. [livejournal.com profile] twoofdtm mutters that this may be from Titanic. Yeah I think so too.
11 But what I do know is when Mount Saint Helens blew, the force was twenty seven thousand times greater then that of the Hiroshima bomb. Do you think that the vent reached to that amount of energy yet? [livejournal.com profile] mike46 mutters that this may be from Volcano. Yeah I think so too.

Just had lunch with [livejournal.com profile] s00j and K who were passing through IA.

And, as I have said before ... I highly recommend [livejournal.com profile] s00j's music ... go here and take a listen. Her newest should be landing in my mailbox in the next day or two ... and I am certain I shall have something to say about that.

RIP
