Yes indeed there is flooding here in Ames. My place is nowhere near it, we're just fine. The bad news is the water system has been "compromised" so no water from the tap for awhile. Bottled water has been acquired, more will be acquired tomorrow when I can get to work (all of the roads were blocked this morning by water).
