We went to the Vinyl Cafe Open Mic Sunday night. It is the successor to Open Mic at The Space For Ames, which was also called the Ames Progressive at one point.

Lizzie and I went in front of an audience for the first time as Cheshire Moon at the Ames Progressive ... 5 years ago to the day. That time we played 4 songs, 3 covers and an original, this time we played 2 songs.

Quick set tonight at the Gas Lamp open mic. We haven't been able to go in the past because it starts too late, but neither of us have to be anywhere tomorrow morning.

Persephone
Disenchanted
Snow White Red Road

It was kinda aggressive, we were in a mood. It was a very good time. We're going to try to get to the Vinyl Cafe open mic on Sunday. We need to be playing more!

We decided to hit the Inspired Grounds open mic tonight. Small crowd, three songs in the first set.

Persephone
A Song About Fog
Snow White, Red Road

And two more later ...

She Moved Through The Faire (trad)
Widow's Garden

We were in a mood tonight, very aggressive versions of nearly everything. It was a blast!

Three songs, no waiting at the Open Mike tonight.
She Moved Through The Faire (trad)
Widows Garden
Narrow Way

We're going to try to hit the open mike every week, so we can stay sharp onstage. Having time off is great and all, but we don't want to get lazy.

Hit the open mic tonight and did a safety set.

Disenchanted
Sleep No More
Snow White Red Road
Village By The Sea

It looks like it's going to be a good time, and a good weekly bit of practice! Now to bed!
