10 years ago Lizzie and I stepped up on the Duckon stage for our first full length show. 6 of the songs were covers, 1 was a parody. We only play She Moved Through The Faire from the covers now. We only do a couple of those originals (*). We’ll do If I Were The Rain if Susan is around. The other three originals fell by the wayside years ago. We’ve written a lot of songs since, 150 or so. We’re currently writing a new song every other week for the Arcana album, so that number will increase.

We’ve done over 200 shows in the last 10 years. We hit a level of burnout last year. We played 41 shows, 3 of which were in front of people. So we sort of quit for several months. We kept the Patreon page going, but that was it. The last few weeks we have started going into the music room in the evenings again. Started going on FB Live occasionally. Music is making us happy again. We are so looking forward to playing in front of people again. So looking forward to live music circles. If OVFF happens, we are SO there!

I’ve played music for most of my life now. Started as a drummer when I was 16, and I’m 62 now. Cheshire Moon has been the best time playing music that I have had. I’m looking forward to the next 10 years!
