I've been thinking about things I have seen. Places I have been ...
I've been on a train at 9000 feet, going through a mountain pass that towered several 1000 feet above me.
I've seen both the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans.
I have woken on a train to Brindisi in the middle of the night, and looked out over the Adriatic sea and saw the moon's reflection make a spear of light from the horizon to where I was.
I have lived in a Dene First Nation village 200 miles south of the Arctic Circle.
I've stood at the foot of Mont Blanc.
I've been in a boat in the middle of Loch Ness.
I've stood on the Acropolis, where modern history began.
I've stood on the stage of the great theater at Epidaurus, where modern theater began.
None of that compares to what I saw yesterday.
There are no words.
