Including the original, and some con specific verses, I now have 99 possible verses for FPN.

So it's contest time. You give me a song that I don't already have, and if I pick it you get a special prize (to be named later)

So come on, help me fry some brains. I'll announce the winner Monday evening

but wait, there's more, now how much will you pay?

The winner will be whatever makes me laugh the most, so it's completely subjective. Duplicate entries will both be awarded a prize

and again

You can enter as many times as you wish

99 verses of pain on his list,
99 verses of pain.
If one of those verses should happen to miss,
98 verses of pain on his list.

Hmm... I'm out of the loop again. What is FPN, why would you need 99 verses, and what kind of song are you looking for?

Ah. I was at the Marscon Smackdown, and now vaguely recall you doing it. Yes, Nate does this sort of thing with Pinball Wizard and, um, another song I can't think of at the moment.... Amazing Grace?

Okay, so you want a song (or section of a song) that will scan to Folsom Prison Blues. Hmm....

How the winds are laughing
they laugh with all their might
Laugh and laugh, the whole day through
and half the summer's night

Chad gadya, chad gadya,
ve-ata chutra, ve-hikkah le-khalba
e-nashakh le-shunra, de-akhlah le-gadya
dizabin abba bitrei zuzei.

Okay, that's it for now. You may rest easy. Or easier, anyway.

First one is the chorus to Dona Dona Dona.

The second is the transliteration of verse 4 of Chad Gadya.

Two songs originally in Hebrew. My mind was in A Different Place. Again.

Is it safe to assume you've used Stairway to Heaven?

With the day that I am having, my first response is "that's not my problem" ...

Instead, I'm going to suggest "If you're happy and you know it."

Mel Blanc = "I Taut I Taw a Putty-tat"
Dr. Hook - "Walk Right In"
Foreigner - "Urgent"
Toby Keith - "I Love This Bar"
Brad Paisley - "Fishing Song"
Steve Martin - "King Tut"
Martin Mull - "Men"
