That was ... odd

I had the 2nd weirdest heckle ever tonight. I was doing FPN and someone asked for Def Leppard. I was struggling to remember the verse, I didn't have my big book with me, and someone grabbed something from a table, got up onstage in back of me ... and poured some sugar on me. A lot of sugar. There is a point at which your improv skills fail you. This was one of those points.

I played Low Self Esteem, Heaven Out On The Highway, Ghosts, FPN.

Unfortunately, this has me thinking of that lame song by the Archies, with "Honey," "Sugar sugar," and (2/3 of the way through the song), "Pour a little sugar on me, honey." I don't think you would ever pollute a convention's microphone by singing this, but the connection (to me) is inescapable!
