Really, they should be called Who's Left. I think that last night showed that they really did die before they got old, cause they looked and played like they were embalmed.

Have you noticed that there hasn't been a female Superbowl halftime singer since Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction?

I disagree

Admittedly I never saw them perform in their prime, but I thought they looked pretty good. Certainly better than the Stones a few years ago.

I didn't see the show last night, but what comes to mind mind, by way of contrast, was when they appeared at the Concert for New York back in 2001. Many other bands and strutted and fretted their hour upon the stage, and then the Who came out and tossed down a gauntlet as if to say "Listen up, kids. This is how rock-and-roll is done."

I was more impressed with the laser stage and fireworks. Not really watching the Who. At one point TFH said, "oh boy, that sounded bad!" And I said, "well, at least you know they're not lip synching!"

I disliked the camerawork, but enjoyed the concert. Still, as I mentioned someplace else, for songs that they've been performing for forty years, it sounded like they needed one more rehearsal.

Hearing the (mostly) full versions of CSI themes was nice. What network was the Superbowl on this year?

Somebody should write a series of parodies of Who hits on the subject of either (a) Dr. Who or (b) Horton the Elephant, or both.

Or maybe a song about Herbert HOOver.

Old Farts Rock!

I caught s bit of it and thought they did pretty well for guys in their 60's. I have seen them live when they were younger with Keith Moon and yes they were much more lively back then but then so was I :-D

Mark said he stopped being a fan when he went to see them on their "final" tour and the first thing they did was announce another show in the same city on NEXT YEAR'S TOUR
such a scam

Went to someone's house to see the final concert by the Who on pay per view, in 1983.

After playing their songs on Rock Band during half time and after the game was over. I watched the halftime concert. After two minutes, I stopped watching being disgusted with it.
