What is a movie that you dearly loved, and that you watched again and that just doesn't hold up now?

Some of the 80s horror stuff just doesn't hold up, particularly The Lost Boys and An American Werewolf In London. I watched both of those not too long ago, and they're a bore now.

Actually, An American Werewolf in London has gone full circle for me. :)

It was a favorite of my dad's, but I didn't get the jokes, so for a long time I didn't like it (and the one part where he changes to a werewolf was Too Scary). Then, I was old enough to get the jokes and found it really quite enjoyable. I haven't seen it in a few years, but the last time I saw it, it was waning on the interest scale.

I'ma go with Top Gun, with the notable exception of the volleyball scene. That never gets old. (But I can play that in my head without hafting to sit through the whole movie, so that's okay.)
