Date: 2009-11-03 04:06 pm (UTC)I've sort of come to see Sir Paul as a cultural sponge/mirror/parrot. When the Beatles were together, he was sparking off the other members of the band and creating things as original as they did. As their influence on him waned, he was just reflecting the 70s as a whole. And Denny Laine.
