They boo and heckle and disparage and all that, but if you call someone a liar in Parliament you'll be up before the speaker and suspended forthwith. Such impugns the honour of 'the Honourable Member'. Liar is a forbidden word in Parliament requireing immediate retraction and apology; and lying to the 'house' has been the downfall of many a politician. I know it seems odd given the bearpit nature of the debating therein, but there you go.
