What is your favorite text/internet abbreviation (or abbreviations)?

What is your least favorite?

And I'm not asking for your opinion on such things in general ... I'm looking for specific text-speech and what they mean

Old fashioned ones here...

Favorite(s):
IHNJ, IJLS: I have no joke, I just like saying...
IMNSHO: In my not so humble opinion...

Least Favorite:
ISTR: I seem to recall... (Really, you seem to have a subjective experience? You are that alienated from yourself that you can't tell if you're having a subjective experience for sure?)

I like IIRC: If I recall correctly... useful phrase, and too long to type.

dislike: rofl, lol.

I like y/w (you're welcome). A quick reply to thx.

I'm not fond of Lawlz, especially when said out loud.

OMFG, IDK, and TL;DR are some of my favorites. (oh my fucking god, I don't know, and Too long; didn't read respectively.)

The only one I really hate is actually an emoticon. :) just seems so damned sarcastic to me. And maybe PMSL (pissing myself laughing) because you know they really aren't... No one would advertise that!

Best:
I can't actually think of any I actively like.

Worst:
tl;dr (too long; didn't read)
IAWTC (I agree with this comment)

Like: IANAL (I am not a lawyer), OP (original poster), ITT (in this thread - hasn't caught on at LJ yet but I find myself wanting to use it a lot)
Dislike: Any anime smilies like ^_^ or XD

I like emoticons to clarify what my attitude was. Sometimes I am not smart enough to make the words do that. They should not be used excessively or to soften mean words.
I hate ROFL.
I like WTF? But not as just any abbreviation. I like it as graffiti or in the body of an email. As a stand alone comment it is pretty lame.

Turn ons:
Iirc (if I recall correctly)
imrho (in my rarely humble opinion; my variant on an abbreviation that precedes the net, iirc)
rtfm (read the manual)
(-)(o) (My wink, from Citadel days)

Turn offs:
Any Ascii text I have to turn my head sideways to read.

While I normally avoid OMG like the plague, I'm occasionally amused by ZOMG! for the zoomy excitement that it exudes. And for anywhere that will accept plain text less-than and greater-than signs, I'm still a fan of the oldstyle <g> for grin, rather than smilies (but having to type the entities, like I did here, is just a pain).

Least favorite... just plain lazy shorthand... UR for your, etc. Basically, AOL-speak. *shudder*

I'm fond of "OMG WTF BBQ" as a sarcastic expression of mock shock and awe.

when used in very particular circumstances (responding to text or image someone has posted in hopes that someone can explain whatever unfathomable oddity it is representing), I am amused by "LOL wut?"

Generally, anything that makes a short word even shorter or otherwise represents pure laziness (U for you, etc.) causes me to think less of the person sending the text. That said, I have occasionally sent an extremely brief or hasty response or time-critical question via text, in which I used this type of shortcut. If I'm doing that, it's probably because I'm doing something else that requires enough of my attention (e.g. driving) that I really shouldn't be texting at all, so I'm looking to minimize my effort for safety reasons.
