O'Brien was a pioneer, without question, and the greatness that is Kong will live forever. But Harryhausen went far, far beyond him.

Yeah ... sorta ... but, and I am a huge fan, nothing that Harryhausen ever did matched the wit, style and depth of character that was seen in King Kong.
