There have been a bunch lately.

Everyone has been talking about Bettie Page. Some things I wanted to comment on. One friend had a photo of her from about 5 years ago and ya know, she was still a stunner. Sure she had grey hair and the lines one would expect from an 80 year old, but that sparkle in the eyes and the killer smile had not been dimmed at all. dek9 made a comment about how she would be called a plus sized model, and perhaps even fat nowadays. If she was fat, I sure do love me some fat chicks ... I miss bellies. The cultural thing about flat bellies makes NO sense to me. Gimme some roundness ... Oh, and bottoms ... what happened to round bottoms? Why can't we have some of those out on the net?

Sorry, this is a post about dead people ...

I saw today in classic_film that Van Johnson died. He was one of those great solid actors. Not the big MOVIE STAR type but a great solid actor. He will be missed.

Note, also, that Marilyn Monroe would have also been considered plus sized.

Anthony Quinn referred to her as "that stupid girl with the fat bottom".

I'm guessing that she turned him down.
