Ok, I know, I am in the process of a divorce ... and I do want to say that my marriage broke up JUST BECAUSE GAY PEOPLE CAN GET MARRIED IN MASSACHUSETTS & CALIFORNIA !!!

You should be able to marry/civil unionize/whatever, the person you love ... period.

Well, I personally know of two divorces that happened because one spouse came out of the closet. One of these divorces did result in the woman marrying her girlfriend. You could probably find somebody who could twist that into the argument you listed.

Then the REAL problem with marriage, since hetrosexuals break up marriages all the time ... the real problem with hetrosexual marriage is ... hetrosexuals.
