Y'know what's sad? For 3-letter animal, I came up with ant, then eel. I'm not sure either one is, technically, an animal. Dog and cat never occurred to me.

I thought ant, too!! When he said "dog" I was stunned. Neither dog nor cat ever occurred to me, and I can't figure out why they didn't.
