It's getting near that time

This weekend is Mahtowa

Just a couple hours north of the twin cities ... free camping, great music, much fun, even if I'm going to be there.

And Labor Day weekend is DMSFS's Semi Annual Constitutional Convention (SACC)

This happens on a farm about an hour north of Des Moines. There is camping, food, the Mock Scottish Games, music, movies and too much fun. All that is asked is that you contribute to the food and the fun. There will be info about it up on the DMSFS site soon. Come on down and hang out with the geeks.

edit And if it is any incentive, the entire WSPA will be in attendance at SACC

Another incentive is that the Republicans will be descending upon Minneapolis that weekend.

Hoping to know the viability of Labor Day travel within the next couple of weeks. Not ruled out yet tho :)
