Personally I do wear pants (actually shorts much moreso in this climate) HOWEVER, "trousers" figure greatly in a lot of my English-based favorite humor...the whole Rutles "errrrr, it was....the trousers" thing, and of COURSE, the Bonzo Dog Band's "TROUSER PRESS" (which begat the music mag of the same name)!!!!!!!!!!
