Red "licorice" is not licorice, but it at least has confectionary value. Twizzlers preferable to Red Vines. Strawbeerry red "licorice" preferable to cherry. And, of course, it is stocked in Garth Algar's Mirthmobile.
I agree about red licorice -- if it were actual licorice, I wouldn't like it. It probably helps that I grew up with strawberry Twizzlers.
White chocolate is just a dumb name for a different kind of confection that people often apply the same way that they apply chocolate. It has its place. (And I hope to remember never to offer you any.)
