scruffy the cat
Great rootsy rock band of the 80s and early 90s founded and led by Charlie Chesterman, an old friend of mine. They put out two marvelous albums, and two wonderful EPs and then broke up. Charlie still plays, in much of the same style, around the Boston area. charliechesterman.com

There is a set in my computer bag and in the duffle I take with me on the road. We play it a fair amount at home (and need to get back into it again).

I still keep my CW dice handy. I should try to start up another game in the CW newsgroup. I miss the weekly rounds we did there. We modified the rules so all rolls "happened at once" (even though the round lasted a week or until everyone had gone). That way we did not have to worry about lead changes for Last Licks until everyone had gone for that round (you had to beat the leader when the round started to move on, not whoever had the current high score. The leader at the start of the LL round did not roll in that round and automatically moved on).

Gosh, I haven't thought of Scruffy the Cat in ages. I never saw them play live, but how can you forget a band name like that?!
