Here are the rules.

Answer only one quote.

If you answer more than one I will delete your reply. If there are quotes still not answered the next day I will open it up to any and all guesses.

Most weeks there is a theme. If there is not a theme I will tell you. The theme is open to guess even if you have guessed a quote.

There is a theme, and it is a variation on a theme by suggested [livejournal.com profile] barondave (so he can guess the quotes but not the theme)

And the theme has been guessed by [livejournal.com profile] selenesue, it is second movies

Don't use a search engine (like this can be enforced). If you don't know, you don't know. Maybe next week you will.

You must either be signed into LJ, or say who you are (in case you are a friend of mine who is not on LJ). All anonymous answers will be deleted (hey, I'm obsessive, I want to know who guesses these). Oh, and don't guess as a reply to someone else's guess, on a busy day that makes it hard for me to spot your answer.

Yay! I pulled 1 and 8, and when 4 turned up ALIENS I was sure. But with your popular contests, one needs to post quick like a bunny!

I'm not sure which movies they are from, but the juxtaposition of 11 and 12 amuses me.

Theme has something to do with Sequels.

I'm thinking [livejournal.com profile] selenesue beat me to the theme.

I cheated and used search engines to look up three of the quotes, and so I'm not going to guess any of the quotes.

I am, however, going to guess that the theme is "sequels." It may be more specifically "second movies."

Oh I'm so glad that someone answered that. I knew who said the line, I could even hear the straight line that preceded it. I just couldn't come up with the movie!

The theme is... oh wait.

I'm not even going to try to guess the movies, but I will mention that my favorite sequel title is The Neverending Story II. Geeze, I don't have the patience for that... or for The Neverending Story III...

For most ridiculous sequel names I have to go with Friday The 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter.

7 movies followed it, including Freddy Vs. Jason.

A more apt title for the first one of those would have been "the interminable story." (Or, perhaps, the intolerable story?)

A movie with acting that bad really ought to have a plot, or some special effects or something to redeem it. With that one, not so much. I cannot imagine someone paying money to see the second one if they saw the first one.
