Boylan's is very good, but my absolute favorite (my friends and I ran a taste-test of various microbrew root beers) is Sparky's. (It is produced by one family out in California, and is very hard to find. Of course, there are online stores that sell it, but the shipping costs are high.)

I quite liked it, but it is a little too smooth for me, I like a little more bite. Still, it's awfully tasty.
