[Poll #1187081]

This one was the idea of my co-worker Dave ... I'm guessing this is going to start fights, but then again I thought that yesterday's quiz was pretty non-controversial. Some folks are just a LITTLE too into their stick shifts for their own good.

It may START a fight... but the Avengers will surely finish it.

As soon as I saw yesterday's quiz, I knew what the results would be. Those stick-shift types are like Mac types.

No - I prefer a stick, but won't touch a Mac

Yeah. Some people prefer things that WORK.

Sadly, I prefer Macs but don't own one.

Well, I do have an Intended, but if he doesn't get off the dime sometime soon... we should meet in person anyway, one of these years. Maybe we should wheedle a way to get you to ConChord.

It depends on the writer, of course, but right now the entire MU is such a disaster area...

Both universes seem to be suffering their share of turmoil right now. On the Marvel side I'm really getting into the Ultimate universe (yeah, I'm joining a bit late, I know ... but at least the graphic novels are available to make it easier on me). I'd like to catch up with the changes and stories in DC, but I got a little behind and I'm not even sure where to start now.

If you have ever had any fondness for Green Lantern, pick up the Sinestro War collections. Geoff Johns went to town on these and it was fairly well confined to its section of the DCU.

Busiek's and Johns' takes on Superman in "Superman" and "Action" respectively have been excellent.

Gail Simone is busy fixing up Wonder Woman.

Johns is doing fine work on JSA. And what he's doing in Booster Gold is a stitch.

Waid and Perez (later Ordway) on Brave and Bold were wonderful.

And Rucka's been just fine on Checkmate. Drop the book like a hot rock when Bruce Jones arrives in an issue or so though. :)

Does that help?

Duh.

Emma Peel. (and by Emma Peel, i mean Diana Rigg)
