Yeah ... great movie, they could not have cast anyone better than RDJ as Tony Stark. And yeah, the bit after the credits ... OH FREAKIN YEAH !!!

And if anyone wants to talk about it more, there is always the comments section, which is the cue for the folks who have not seen it to understand that there may be spoilers there.

I think they are too soon.
There are a lot of characters that have not yet been created in the movies that need to appear to make that initiative happen, and I can't see them being all being created well in one movie that leaves any time for a plot.

There are a couple of movies that would need to be made ... but only a couple, the rest the audience would just accept

I can totally see a Hawkeye movie at least as good as Ghost Rider.

Don't get me wrong; I'm pleased it is all happening. I just think the foreshadowing was too long-distance.

Well, if they went the Ultimates route (which with the casting of Samuel Jackson as Fury they do seem to be somewhat following) you could par down the membership list a lot and roll some of the "lesser" members up into a single movie. Perhaps a S.H.E.I.L.D. movie with Hawkeye, and Jan and Hank Pym? Although I do have to wonder how much coverup can you do with a 60' tall naked man walking around? That kind of thing does tend to attract notice.

Hmm. Could the upcoming Incredible Hulk have an Avengers tie-in?

heheh. But that is part of the fiendish master plot. They are going to be introduced in separate movies with related easter eggs. (or so the grapevine whispers)

And, no, I cannot see a Hawkeye movie. I'm not sure their planning on using him, at least as a principal.
