I wish to apologize to everyone for this affront. This may not affect some of you for some time, but, for most of you, eventually it will.

I'm so sorry, I really am.

You're sorry you tried to learn how to play the banjo?

Goody - I love banjo music.
Gonna play some at Demi?

APOLOGIZE?

Why? Banjos are fun as hell to play!

Pfft. Until BC Rich makes one, I'll pass.

I *am* kidding. You know that, right?

I've actually been idly musing for the last five minutes about what it would look like if BCR made one.

Two of the questions you never hear are, "Is that the banjo player's Lamberghini?" and, "Is the accordion player single?" I don't think I want to play banjo any more, or accordion for the first time.

I would have said the accordion, actually.

Because it was likely hurled with greater force....

I was going to say, "Let the banjo jokes commence," but I see that I am too late.

Definition of an optimist? A banjo player with a beeper.

Better than a ukelele, or a bagpipe.

Of course, Eric on the Uke doing a Tiny Tim impersonation boggles.

It's spelled ukulele. I do know one Tiny Tim impersonator. Her name is Betty and she is very convincing. (I even jammed with the real Tiny Tim once before he died. Just a little too weird.)

The Banjo is the happiest insturment EVER! It is impossible to play a sad song on the Banjo. If people are mad at you, well, they can go...away.

Banjo is what Marscon needs.

Remind me to have John play a certain song on the banjo for you sometime... and if you think it's a happy song, I'll make sure you get locked up somewhere nice and safe. :P

What's your point? It starts with the destruction of Earth and ends with the destruction of ANY possibility of Earth in ANY universe. This is happy?

I hereby request Eric Coleman and Timm Waffle doing Duel Banjos at some point. It should be interesting to see what the two of you can come up with :-)

I'd have probably done that before taking up the guitar, except for two things - my Dad's banjo was most definitely for lefties, and it, in any case, needed repairs I had no money for.

Now, I like my cittern's sound better than any banjo's, so I probably won't learn banjo. Besides, there's not enough practice time as is; if I was going to add something it would be hammered dulcimer, just 'cause it sounds so good. If the bridges are in the right place, anyway...
