I saw him twice back in the 70s, still the best live show I ever saw.

LOL true story. When I was working in Montreal, there was a band called One976. My friend Jayk played bass for them briefly. Their frontperson was a transgendered individual, as was one of the other members. They did this song. They killed it. It was so awesome. Many people were appalled. Ha ha.

Not many do, but his band of travelling nutcases was the best live act I ever saw.
