The funny bit, gmail also had ads, more discrete than LJ, but still there. And they pull from the content of your mail. LJ mails replies to my gmail, so, I'm seeing GD ads in gmail now. better one. LJ just had ring tones and 'misc merch'. Gmail has the complete boxed set. hmmmm...
