Here are the rules.

Answer only one quote.

If you answer more than one I will delete your reply. If there are quotes still not answered the next day I will open it up to any and all guesses.

Most weeks there is a theme. If there is not a theme I will tell you. The theme is open to guess even if you have guessed a quote.

The theme has been guessed by [livejournal.com profile] exapno, it is Heist movies

Don't use a search engine (like this can be enforced). If you don't know, you don't know. Maybe next week you will.

You must either be signed into LJ, or say who you are (in case you are a friend of mine who is not on LJ). All anonymous answers will be deleted (hey, I'm obsessive, I want to know who guesses these). Oh, and don't guess as a reply to someone else's guess, on a busy day that makes it hard for me to spot your answer.

This week's idea has been brought to you by the lovely and talented [livejournal.com profile] polyfrog, who is thus ineligible to guess the theme this week.
01 I have a feeling that tonight you're going to see one of the Riviera's most fascinating sights ... I was talking about the fireworks! [livejournal.com profile] exapno says, I have a cunning To Catch A Thief that cannot fail
02 I'm going to get up from this table. I'm going to walk to the nearest police station, and I'm going to turn myself in. And they will take me back to Stryker's funny farm, where at least I was safe. [livejournal.com profile] whl says, I have a cunning Bank Shot that cannot fail
03 "When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer." The benefits of a classical education. [livejournal.com profile] wyngarde says, I have a cunning Die Hard that cannot fail
04 Avoid the green ones. They're not ripe yet. [livejournal.com profile] polyfrog says, I have a cunning A Fish Called Wanda that cannot fail
05 You'll never be able to copy this amiable countenance.. [livejournal.com profile] shsilver says, I have a cunning The Hot Rock that cannot fail
06 Hang on, lads; I've got a great idea. [livejournal.com profile] bammba_m says, I have a cunning The Italian Job that cannot fail
07 Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? [livejournal.com profile] eeknight says, I have a cunning Kelly's Heroes that cannot fail
08 I propagate British cultural depravity.. [livejournal.com profile] controuble says, I have a cunning Lavendar Hill Mob that cannot fail
09 All right, you proved your point. You broke into my vault. Congratulations, you're a dead man. [livejournal.com profile] daddy_guido says, I have a cunning Ocean's 11 (2001) that cannot fail
10 If you were your father, I doubt very much if I would have kissed you. [livejournal.com profile] controuble says, I have a cunning The Pink Panther that cannot fail
11 You know I could have been in the NSA, but they found out my parents were married. [livejournal.com profile] gundo says, I have a cunning Sneakers that cannot fail
12 You know me. I'm the same as you. It's two in the morning and I don't know nobody. [livejournal.com profile] shsilver says, I have a cunning The Sting that cannot fail

The thief or the heist - if hers is more accurate, fine, but look at the time stamp - I was 2 minutes before Xap

#2; it sounds to me like George C. Scott, in Bank Shot.

He was probably the most age appropriate Dortmunder, although I liked Robert Redfords performance better, in Hot Rock. But Redford didn't have to deal with the kind of things they did to the script in Bank Shot
