When coming up with new dances, did they just flail their limbs randomly and then give the results a name, along with an obligatory not-quite-catchy tune? Oh wait, that would have been better.

Without hearing a second, and seeing only a blurry key image, I can tell already it's....THE FREDDIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock's greatest ex-milkman, bless 'is soul....A Freddie & the Dreamers tune I've gotta hear is "Susan's Tuba", a Graham Gouldman composition pre-10cc that was a big hit in France of all places!

Great seeing you again at da Con, Eric, most likely you go to Marscon (and I'll go mine)...wait, Dylan reference out of context - hold on.....doh.....eep

From now on I will constantly be bugging you about wearing a suit and tie when you go on stage.

They DID do an occasional good song, such as "I'm Telling You Now".

you know what... he's totally owning his stage presence, and it's really very cool in a "holy crap, what a ginormous dork" sort of way.

i dig it. i'm a convert.

(and i still say they're like the official band for the ministry of silly walks.)

This is exactly why I became a drummer. You can hide out back there behind the drum set and no one expects you to do any sort of stupid dance.

MY GOD! This song was on the novelty record "Freddy's Greatest Hits" as in Freddy Krueger, from Nightmare On Elm Street. I had no idea it was a cover song. With some tweeked lyrics.

I learn something new every day...
