Fuck me sideways! I'd hate to be the soundman/men: that's one long day, the end of which your ears will be shot to pieces; and your will to live measured in negative values; and your desire to ever hear another note played quite small.
Big drinks for the soundguys, I reckon.
An old Rock 'n' Roll koan indicates keeping soundmen happy equates to a good gig. It's something I'm always careful about.

Now play to melt the coming winter's snow: may all your notes, and those of the other performers, be apt.

It's actually a tiny place that doesn't really need a sound system, so it's not as bad as some things like this that I have played. I'm also not following some bunch of electric-ized maniacs like I had to on Sunday (yeah, make the old guy with the acoustic guitar follow a techno band, I will make fun of the organizer for years about that one)
