I am finally going to get a chance to see him play in November. I pulled out a bunch of CDs that I hadn't listened to in awhile. This stanza from One Long Pair Of Eyes stands out

"She falls on you like rain
When will she fall again
Just before the dawn appears, draining all the blue away
and just before your perspectives change
Isn't it strange?"

In the mid-Eighties I was briefly in a band signed to 'Midnight Music', which was Robyn's label. I met him once, along with the rest of the band I was in. He talked about fish. Haha. Never mind. He he overtops me by a couple of inches (about 6'4", I'm 6'2"), but ain't quite as skinny.
