I was working on getting some of my Mom's money transfered, in this case an IRA. And for some reason it came up as a problem due to OFAC.

So I want to send out special thanks to our gubbment for protecting us from people like me ...

Now if I can just get this fixed ...

Hmmmmm....a long time ago when I worked for Wells Fargo, we had to do annual required learning about OFAC. If the transaction is over $10,000, that could be why you're having the issue with OFAC. That's the only logical explanation I can think of.......

I used to work for a company that made grey-area video poker machines. Some of our customers would take shoeboxes full of cash around to the various banks and get a $9,000 cashiers cheque from each one, and pay for the machines with those.
