If I remember correctly, there was a Neo-Nazi march somewhere in the Chicago area, in or near a heavily Hispanic neighborhood, that turned into a Hispanic Pride celebration, complete with Mariachi bands drowning out the Neo-Nazis.
Ridicule is so much better than violence for defusing them.
I have been saying for YEARS that the best way to deal with these racist idiots is to LAUGH them off the face of the planet!
Hate is NO match for laughter. Bigotry is no match for laughter. Sexism is no match for laughter.
Like Swami Beyondananda (the Yogi from Muskogee) says: "The only way to overcome gravity is with levity!" And there is actually great wisdom in that seemingly frivolous statement...
