Is your affinity for Tonio K from before or after his "born-again" conversion? Or both?

Tonio was never "born again". If you listen to Rodent Weekend you will hear more songs from his early days with a christian bent than anything he did during his supposed "born again" period. As he said, he was always a christian.

That said, I do not think he has put out a bad record, and I have them all.

I was only ever exposed to one album, the one with "H-A-T-R-E-D" on it, and I was quite impressed. I had heard later that he had gone "born again", and never heard any more about him.

That was from Life In The Foodchain, his first record, which is available on Gadfly records as well (follow the link above) he also has another half dozen or so (I'm too lazy to go look at the moment) out as well.

He got lucky sometime in the late 80s when Vanessa Williams covered one of his songs, which, as he says, put him in a whole new tax bracket.

wholewheatradio.org is an internet radio station out of Talkneeta Alaska. They are a great indy/folkie station that, for reasons no one can quite explain, made me the artist of the day last year. Regardless of their questionable taste in music, I still like the station

The band ceased to be when the couple ceased to be. They both continue with solo careers. I need to try to track down their solo records, but that has proved to be difficult at best

Heh, you're about like me. I learned that 150 interests is maxxed out, and you've got 147. I seem to have a passing interest, or at least basic knowledge of a lot of your interests, and we both listed several cons.
