I am off to Mahtowa Friday morning. If I haven't mentioned it before, I thought I would now.

As always I cannot recommend it more highly. If you like great singer/songwriter stuff, the songwriting competition is always amazing.

I do have a dilemma.

I was working on a new song just for the competition. I am going to do the other new song that I have put in the set recently, but I need a second song, and the song for the festival is just not going to get done. So, here is a listing of what I have done before

Well Ghosts is one of my favorites, but you just did that last year. I also like Color of Your eyes, so that's my vote. Of course you could always whip out Hides ;)

Hides is just too long ... short and to the point works at Mahtowa

You could always bust out Bang My Bald Spot ... it's uptempo, funny ... good crowd stuff.

I went back to the listings I have, and realized that I did something else the first year. I'm still not sure what the second song was I did the second year, but I think that Low Self Esteem and Bang My Bald Spot are back on the table. It will probably be one of those.

Well, I'm sure you'll have fun ... no matter what song you do. One of these years I'm going to have to try to make it up there. This would have been a good year for it except for Archon.

I generally take 35E ... there really isn't a different way that I can think of.
I am probably doing lunch with a friend friday as well ... we'll see. She is still trying to get in contact with a friend who takes that way home every day.
