I have a new car. It's purty. A Ford Escape Hybrid. Yeah ... serious geek moments going on in my life. I've had it just a little under 2 weeks.

Some gerbil rear ended me last night.

I don't think I have any real damage, but I have to get it into the shop in the next day or so.

I'm annoyed. I've never been in an accident before (least not while I was driving)

It was just a bump. My car seems to be fine, but his was pretty messed up. The advantage to having a sizable vehicle, he slid right under my bumper.

At least legally the guy who hit you is 100% at fault. Most states (even no-fault states) say that in a rear-end collision, the driver at the rear is always at fault for not being prepared for the situation.
