Here are the rules.

Answer only one quote.

If you answer more than one I will delete your reply. If there are quotes still not answered the next day I will open it up to any and all guesses.

Most weeks there is a theme. If there is not a theme I will tell you. The theme is open to guess even if you have guessed a quote.

[livejournal.com profile] shsilver guessed the theme, it's giant monsters (or as he said, big critters)

Don't use a search engine (like this can be enforced). If you don't know, you don't know. Maybe next week you will.

You must either be signed into LJ, or say who you are (in case you are a friend of mine who is not on LJ). All anonymous answers will be deleted (hey, I'm obsessive, I want to know who guesses these)

01 Listen, there are dozens of girls in this town tonight that are in more danger than they'll ever see with me. [livejournal.com profile] shsilver is first this week with a correct answer of King King 1933
02 Even if I burn my notes, the secret will still be in my head. Until I die, how can I be sure I won't be forced by someone to make the device again? Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] pheltzer comes up with Godzilla
03 We may be witnessing a Biblical prophecy come true - the beasts will reign over the earth. Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] ann_totusek comes up with Them
04 This is such a strange feeling, I feel as though I'm leaving a world of untold tomorrows for a world of countless yesterdays. Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] jrittenhouse comes up with The Beast from 20000 Fathoms
05 Even if you're a cyborg... Katsura, I still love you! Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] vampyrslayr666 comes up with Terror of MechaGodzilla
06 I've had nightmares in my time, but I've never dreamed of anything like this. Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] mike46 comes up with 20 MIllion Miles To Earth
07 Oh it looks like they're having a conversation. Oh Shindo, what do you think they're saying to each other? Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] wyngarde comes up with Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster!
08 Murders and rapes in the city, people bomb planes, can the police stop 'em? No! But feed one little cow to a crocodile... Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] devospice comes up with Lake Placid
09 Attention! Attention! Ladies and gentlemen, attention! There is a herd of killer rabbits headed this way and we desperately need your help! Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] naomikritzer comes up with Night Of The Lepus
10 What kind of sin could a man commit in a single lifetime to bring this upon himself? Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] noise626 comes up with The Amazing Colossal Man
11 I never saw anything like it! No footprints! No blood! No sign of a struggle! The bones just stripped clean like peeling a banana! Against all odds and reason [livejournal.com profile] polyfrog comes up with Tarantula
12 You know everyone's seeing satellites these days. Against all odds and reason and common sense [livejournal.com profile] selenesue comes up with The Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman

09 night of the Lepa. i think that's what it's called, anyway. i've seen it. twice. once without the mst3k commentary, thanks to my then-boyfriend who was weirdly obsessed with that movie.

Not all that unreasonable someone came up with that. That movie was featured in one of MST3K's better known episodes. just about ALL MSTies know that quote :D

Had I noticed your LJ entry earlier, I probably would have come up with it *heh*

Here is where my mis-spent Saturday and Sunday afternoons as a youth pay off (so technically it's NOT against all odds and reason). A channel in Mpls. used to run movies first on Sunday, then repeat it the next Saturday. While I did see my share of "classics," there was also a healthy(?) helping of B-movie fare. IIRC, #3 is from "Them"- big-ass ants. But my favorite line from that movie is a character yelling "Make me a sergeant in charge of the booze! Make me a sergeant in charge of the booze!" A line oft-repeated in my high school after we saw the movie play one weekend...
