I thought I would sign up for the Just Plain Folks showcase in Des Moines in June ... here is the email I sent. I couldn't resist a couple of Eric-isms

Music Genre: singer/songwriter/sarcasm

Band Size and Instrumentation: I'm rather large and I play guitar

Short Descriptions of your music, style and experience: Eric is a
songwriter/singer (when you hear him you'll understand) who writes
both serious and funny songs. For some reason few people want to hear
the serious stuff. He's been playing music since the 70s, but doing
what he is doing now since the new century. He has been played on the
Dr Demento show as well as a lot of internet radio stations.

Special Time Needs: None, I play almost exclusively in 4/4
