Karoake and such

Just got back, and I am about to email work to say that I might be late.

Karoake can be bad ... and it frequently was ... bad ... but there were a couple of quite nice singers ... and a couple of very cute singers ... once again I felt like a dirty old man ... and I have to admit ... I'm not all that old ...

So how was your night ???

Since I didn't have to stay, and since I had to work in the AM, I cut out about half way through. I'd agree with your assessment. I thumbed idly through the song listing book they had. I was surprised to see Leonard Cohen had a section (but none of the covers I do) but Tom Waits had no section. Thought it was kind of fun that they had a couple of Zappa tunes and a goodly selection of Tenacious D. Maybe next time, though I think I prefer having a guitar in-hand - keeps my hands from fidgeting.
