One of the things I haven't talked about on LJ is my love for cats, just about any cat; holding onto a purring kitty is one of the most wonderful things I do, and Louie and I are actually quite blessed with our three. The problem with a cat photo, or with my wandering into a pet store just to say hello, is that I want the complete set. Not just one cat of every breed, not just one cat with every possible coat, but every cat in the world. And this obviously isn't possible. But -- even so, I want to reach my hand into that photo and stroke both cats gently and lovingly. And let's hope neither you nor anybody you're close to is so allergic that you'll have to rewash the laundry on account of cat fur!
I would like to point out that these are _my_ cats (proud mama that I am). The black one is a neutered male named Sirius, the tiger is a neutered female named Maia. Yes, Sirius is a cat named after the dog star, but also after a Harry Potter character because he's seriously black. Maia is also named after a star. We were choosing between Nova, Mira, and Cassiopeaia (sp?) to stick with the astronomy theme.
Oh yeah, after living with them...I be ann_totusek 's daughter, I can tell you that that is very much so possessed. He does lovely things like sitting on your face at four a.m.
