I am all dried out ... cold spells do that to me ... throat is itchy ... not a cold, just dry.

On the other hand, I had a good time in the studio and laid down a very likely backing track for the new record ... so I want to go perform. the problem

Both possible places to go play tonight are smoking venues ... ack ... there is a new music open mike ... and the standup open mike ... I have about 15 minutes to make up my mind ...

I hate smoking venues ... I really do ...

Know the feeling. Since NY passed the non-smoking laws, I've completely lost my tolerance for smoke. I got sick from it last time I played NC.
